Files Types - PPT
The PPT file format is commonly used by Microsoft PowerPoint. Powerpoint is designed to make presentations and can include images, motion graphics, videos, graphs, tables, text and hyperlinks between pages.
Sometimes PowerPoint is utilised in producing artwork, this is probably due to it's availability and ease of use despite designing artwork not being the intended purpose of the software.
Viewing
PPT files can be viewed by PowerPoint, PowerPoint Viewer or the Open Office software suite.
